This is a letter of recommendation for Dr. Xie Wen Fei whom I have known for
over sixteen years.

Wen Fei Xie is a graduate of the Shanghai Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
This is one of China's most prestigious schools of traditional medicine. After her
graduation, she served as a physician at the attached hospitals of the Shanghai
School. Her training in East Asian medicine is on the highest levels attainable and
she is one of the leading experts living in the United States. After coming to the
United States and moving to Massachusetts, she was licensed as an acupuncturist in
various states including Massachusetts. She has a busy practice and is highly
regarded by her colleagues. For a period of several years, she worked in the Arnold
Pain Unit at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where she was highly
respected. She is especially unique because she perfectly bi-lingual and has enormous
experience working with western born patients in addition to her Chinese experience.
She has been a colleague and I have spent much time with Wen Fei Xie reading
classical Chinese medical texts and discussing clinical cases.

I do not believe there is a more skilled, compassionate and knowledgeable
practitioner of Chinese medicine in the United States. I highly recommend her.
